Sousa Gets Some Back

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Rui Sousa raised to 70,000 first to act and was called by Joe Mouawad in the big blind. On the {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Mouawad checked and called a bet of 115,000 before checking again the {a-Hearts} on the turn. Sousa now bet 200,000 and that forced a fold from Mouawad.

Up next, Marton Czuczor raised to 70,000 and Stefan Jedlicka called in the big blind. They checked the {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. After the {4-Hearts} turn they both invested 175,000 and the {7-Spades} river went check, check again.

Jedlicka tabled {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a missed gutshot and Czuczor won the pot with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for eights and fives.
