Olsen Takes Bechrakis Out

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The player in mid-position had raised and Gisle Olsen had three-bet from the hijack. Evangelos Bechrakis shoved for about 19,000 from the cutoff. The initial raiser folded and Olsen called with the bigger stack.

Evangelos Bechrakis: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Gisle Olsen: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} to keep Bechrakis ahead but provide Olsen with the flush and gutshot straight draw.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} which gave Olsen even more outs as he now added the seven as a possibility to eliminate Bechrakis.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} to give Olsen the flush indeed to send Bechrakis to the cashier to reenter on Day 1c.
