Schwippert Next Casualty

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Only a few days ago, Jan-Eric Schwippert had a huge score after emerging victorious in the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic $100,000 Super High Roller in Las Vegas, but the trip to Prague has not been as successful so far. He busted in the Main Event and just now shoved for his last 12,400 in the Single-Day High Roller.

Mikhail Rudoy called in the small blind and Pierre Neuville folded in the big blind. Rudoy tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Schwippert first exposed the {J-Spades} followed by the {K-Spades}. The German was drawing dead after the turn of a board {Q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and left the table with a "good luck guys."

One hand later, Jean-Noel Thorel shoved his short stack of around 16,000 and claimed the blinds and antes. He picked up a T-5,000 and proudly held it up with a big smile and "comeback time," triggering smiles all around.
