Serda Takes on Ullerup Hansen

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov built his stack slightly and Patrick Serda recovered the losses by taking from Tue Ullerup Hansen. Serda opened to 425,000 from the small blind and Ullerup Hansen called in the big blind. On the {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Serda continued for 275,000 and was called before the {7-Clubs} turn went check, check.

On the {Q-Clubs} river, Serda bet and Ullerup Hansen gave it plenty of thought. The clock was called on him and the Dane folded.

Hansen Takes the Pot on the Turn

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Tue Ullerup Hansen opened from the button to 325,000 and William Kassouf called from the big blind. Both Viliyan Petleshkov and Patrick Serda decided it was a good time to stretch their legs and temporarily left the table.

Kassouf check-called a bet of 325,000 from Hansen on the {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop. Kassouf checked when the {2-Clubs} hit the turn and then told his opponent that, "Your ace is no good."

Hansen bet 750,000 after he tanked for a couple of minutes. Kassouf went into the tank for minutes before Hansen eventually called the clock on him. With about 20 seconds left to act, Kassouf folded the pot to Hansen.

Paul Leckey Eliminated in 5th Place (224,600)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Paul Leckey
Paul Leckey

Patrick Serda raised to 350,000 from the button before Paul Leckey three-bet jammed all-in for 1,300,000 from the big blind. Serda quickly tossed in one chip to call.

Paul Leckey: {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Patrick Serda: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Leckey, who was already behind, got no help from the {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop to catch up. Serda commented to his opponent, "If you are going to stand up, stand up on the turn."

Leckey stood up, but it didn't change his fate. The {10-Hearts} and {7-Spades} were unable to improve his hand for a chop or a win and Leckey was eliminated in sixth place for 224,600.

Serda Takes from Kassouf

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

At the end of the previous level, Tue Ullerup Hansen defended his big blind against a raise by William Kassouf and check-folded a jack-high flop to get shown {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} by Kassouf.

Kassouf then started the new level in the big blind and Patrick Serda raised to 350,000 from under the gun. Kassouf called and checked the {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, Serda checked behind. On the {8-Diamonds} turn, Kassouf bet 450,000 and Serda called before the {9-Spades} appeared on the river.

Some table talk by Kassouf followed and he then bet 575,000, Serda snap-called. Kassouf showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for nines and sevens, which Serda had beat with {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a straight to take over the lead.

Hansen Calls Kassouf's Bluff

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Tue Ullerup Hansen opened from the button to 220,000 and William Kassouf called from the big blind. Kassouf checked the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} flop before calling a bet from Hansen for 135,000.

Both players checked when the {6-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. The {2-Spades} completed the board on the river. Kassouf bet 450,000 and said, "If you have it you have it." He then said, "If you fold I should you king-jack, if you call I show you king-jack." Hansen thought for a few more seconds before he called and won the hand with {A-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} after Kassouf tabled {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Grzegorz Wyraz
Grzegorz Wyraz

Down to just 650,000, Grzegorz Wyraz moved all in from under the gun and Patrick Serda called from the button. "I have an ace," Serda said before turning over his cards.
