Dan Shak All In
Level 18
: 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Thomas Lentrodt opened to 18,000 from the cutoff. Dan Shak called on the button and Usman Saddique defended his big blind. Saddique and Lentrodt checked to Shak on the flop. The American hedge fund manager bet 25,000, which both opponents called.
On the turn, Shak now bet 85,000, getting Saddique out of the way. Lentrodt spent two minutes in the tank before committing a call.
Lentrodt checked the on the river and Shak moved all in for 197,000. With Lentrodt having just 160,000 behind, it was a decision for his tournament life.
The German, who's on his way to his biggest live cash ever, gave it up after two minutes of thought. Shak let out an audible and slightly exaggerated sigh before raking in the chips.
