Hands #17-20: Ramin Hajiyev Doubles Up

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ramin Hajiyev
Ramin Hajiyev

Hand #17: Max Silver opened with {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} to 28,000 from middle position and Ramin Hajiyev defended his big blind with {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The flop was {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, giving Silver top pair top kicker. Hajiyev quickly check-folded to a 40,000 bet from the Brit.

Hand #18: Action folded to Ramin Hajiyev in the small blind, who limped in with {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}. [Removed:17] held {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} in the big blind and raised to 30,000. Hajiyev committed the extra chips to see a flop.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Hajiyev checked. Yan, with a gutshot and two overcards, continued with a bet of 53,000. Hajiyev, holding top pair, called the bet.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs}, giving Yan the monster straight and leaving Hajiyev drawing dead. The Azerbaijani checked and Yan quickly checked behind.

On the {6-Spades} river, Hajiyev checked a third time. Yan simply moved all in, putting Hajiyev to the test for his entire stack of 299,000. Hajiyev folded after mere seconds.

Hand #19: [Removed:17] opened to 42,000 from the small blind with {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and won the hand.

Hand #20: Ramin Hajiyev picking up {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} in the cutoff and raised to 30,000. [Removed:17] called with {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} on the button to see a flop. The dealer fanned out {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Hajiyev bet 53,000. Yan, with the inferior hand, made a quick call.

The {5-Diamonds} on the turn slowed down Hajiyev and he checked. Yan bet just 43,000 into a pot of 194,000. Hajiyev thought for over a minute, then shoved all in for 212,000 total. Yan gave it around 90 seconds of thought, then called.

Hajiyev was in a great shape for a double-up, and the {8-Diamonds} on the river was safe for him. The Azerbaijani moved up to 618,000.

Ole Schemion Eliminated in 6th Place (98,740)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Hand #16: From under the gun plus one, [Removed:17] opened the action raising {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for 28,000.

Big blind Ole Schemion found a big hand as well, waking up with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}. He moved all in for 383,000 and Yan snap called.

"What you gonna do, right?" Schemion said after seeing the showdown.

The {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop did nothing for either and neither did the {2-Clubs} on the turn.

Schemion stood up already to make his exit and did so after the {9-Hearts} completed the board.

After starting the final day as the shortest stack, Schemion was the first to go, banking almost 100,000. The remaining players are guaranteed 127,400 from here on out.

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #4: From first position, Ramin Hajiyev open raised {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} to 23,000. His neighbor, [Removed:17], three-bet {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} to 56,000 and everyone folded.

Hand #3: Schemion Shoves With Kings

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Hand #3: Ole Schemion picked up {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} under the gun and raised to 23,000. Ramin Hajiyev looked at {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} in the next seat over and put in a three-bet to 67,000. All the other players folded, bringing the action back on Schemion.

The German juggernaut didn't take too much time before moving all in for 264,000. That send the Azerbaijani back in his seat. He asked for a count of Schemion's stack and took his time to come to a decision.

As the minutes were ticking away, Hajiyev rose from his seat to get a better look at his opponent. Eventually, after considering his options for over four minutes, Hajiyev decided to throw his hand in the muck.

Hajiyev asked Schemion what he had, but the German wasn't planning to reveal that information yet. The two exchanged some friendly banter.

"I will know in half an hour bro," Hajiyev consoled himself, who will have to wait until the stream catches up to find out he made a good fold.
