Rossiter Holds

Level 3 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jeff Rossiter - €25,750 High Roller
Jeff Rossiter - 25,750 High Roller

Steve O'Dwyer made it 2,400 and Ben Heath flatted before Jeff Rossiter bumped it to 8,200.

O'Dwyer four-bet, making it 21,000 total and Heath promptly five-bet shoved for 109,000. Rossiter called all in for 80,000 and his tournament life and after O'Dwyer folded, Rossiter showed the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}.

It was a classic cooler with Heath on the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and the {5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board brought no surprises, giving Rossiter the double up and leaving Heath with less than a third of a starting stack.

Set Over Set

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

A set-over-set debacle has seen Felix Bleiker hit the rail early and EPT Berlin and WSOPE Main Event champ Kevin MacPhee soar up the leader board.

It was Macphee's fives over Bleiker's threes that did the trick. Ironically, Bleiker also made the final table of the WSOPE Main Event in Berlin that MacPhee won this past fall, finishing sixth.

Ung First to Go

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Senh Ung
Senh Ung

Senh Ung has been the first player to be eliminated today. Rainer Kempe, who sat down not too long ago, was the one benefiting.

We missed the hand, but Kempe told us afterwards they had gotten it in before the flop in a cutoff (Ung) versus button (Kempe) situation. Kempe had {9-}{9-} and beat Ung's {A-}{K-} when no kings and aces appeared on the board.

Ung has the option to re enter till the end of the 8th (30-minute) level.

McDonald Stares Down Kisacikoglu

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Mike McDonald - Orpen Kisacikoglu
Mike McDonald - Orpen Kisacikoglu

We turned up on the tournament floor to see Canadian Mike McDonald staring down Turk Orpen Kisacikoglu with 31,000 in the middle on an {8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} board.

Kisacikoglu had bet the river to the tune of 14,500 and after giving him the steely stare, McDonald opted to push all in. After about 45 seconds in the tank, Kisacikoglu pitched his cards in the muck, allowing McDonald to rake in the pot and join the early leaders.
