May the Stalling Begin
The screens show 377 players remaining and Nuno Capucho has been called the clock on twice. In the first hand, Ivan Luca raised to 6,200 and Kestutis Gecevicius three-bet to 16,100. Capucho tanked in the small blind and Gecevicius asked for time after 30 seconds.
Tournament staff denied the initial request due to lack of time passed by, but Capucho kept tanking for another two minutes. He was then called down for one minute, and the time ran out to kill his hand in the big blind. Luca folded.
The next hand, Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 5,500 and Luca three-bet to 18,000. Capucho tanked in the small blind and this time was given 30 seconds. Again the time ran down, and Capucho's hand was killed. Ruzicka also folded and Capucho was warned that his next countdown would be 10 seconds only.
