A camera team and four photographers followed Gerard Pique to the registration and then to his table, immediately quick firing at the Spanish football star as soon as he had taken a seat. The field has increased frantically over the past hour with a lot of players showing up at the same time, and many tables are opened almost simultaneously to accommodate the growing field.

In a previous hand, Leo Yan Ho Cheng raised to 3,000 and Christian Christner three-bet to 11,000 out of the big blind to force a fold.
Then, Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 14,000 from the button and initial raiser Ho Cheng four-bet to 30,000. O'Dwyer moved all in and was snap-called.
O'Dwyer:
Ho Cheng:
The board ran out and O'Dwyer was covered, but the American with Irish roots will most likely be back soon for his second bullet.

From the hijack, Erik Seidel made it 3,000 and Alex Komaromi on the button bumped it up to 9,000. Both blinds folded and Seidel made the call.
The flop came and Seidel check-called a bet of 8,000. Both players checked the on the turn and the completed the board. Seidel casually tossed in 30,000 sending Komaromi into the tank. After some deliberation, Komaromi made the call.
Seidel mucked first and Komaromi took it down showing .

Max Silver raised to 3,500 with very few chips behind and Erik Seidel called in the big blind. "I like it!" Silver joked towards Seidel and the flop came . Seidel checked, Silver got his last 1,600 in and Seidel called.
Silver:
Seidel:
The turn and river completed the early misery for Silver, but he could still laugh and headed straight back to the registration desk.

Action folded to Jean-Noel Thorel on the button and he made it 3,000 to go. Small blind Yang Wang three-bet to 8,000 and the big blind folded. Thorel wanted to see a flop and made the call.
The first three community cards came and Wang made a continuation-bet of 7,500. Thorel made the call and the hit the turn. Wang now checked and saw his neighbor bet 15,000. Wang check-raised to 36,500 and Thorel called.
The river came the and Wang moved in. How much it was exactly, we're not sure, as Thorel called just about instantly. Wang showed and Thorel raked in the chips tabling .
"I folded . It's really important that's in there" Dietrich Fast commented after Wang had already left the table.
