A little while ago we spotted an interesting hand that involved defending champion Leonid Markin and Fedor Holz.
Markin raised before the flop to 2,400 at the start of the second level, and Holz three-bet from his immediate left to 7,500. The action folded back around to Markin, and he made the call.
The flop came down and Markin check-called 8,500 after which the turn was the .
On the turn both players checked and the river brought the . Markin opted to lead out for 17,000 and Holz threw in a big raise to 102,000. Markin folded his cards and Holz took this pot down.
Not too long after this hand Holz and Markin both got moved to a new table, but interestingly enough they were seated next to each other again in the same order.
