Velvelt Vanishes

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

After being crippled by El Amir Ziad Chehab, who had made a flush with the {k-Spades}{4-Spades}, Estonia's Urmo Velvelt was left with just 250 in chips.

They went in the very next hand from the hijack, and Team PokerStars Pro Andre Akkari three-bet to 400 from the cutoff. The player in the big blind came along, and then check-called a bet of 525 from Akkari on the {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop. Both players checked the {J-Hearts} turn, and then the player in the big blind fired out 1,500 on the {9-Spades} river.

Akkari folded, the big blind tabled the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair, and Velvelt revealed the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} before becoming the second player to hit the rail here on Day 1a of the EPT11 Grand Final Main Event.
