Urbanovich Hits Perfect Turn

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #20: Kurganov in the hijack with {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} opened for 115,000. Urbanovich in the big blind called with {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Urbanovich checked. Kurganov bet 150,000 and Urbanovich, with the over card, gutshot and back door flush draw, made the call.

590,000 in the pot and the {9-Spades} hit the turn; the best card Urbanovich could hit. The Polish player checked again, Kurganov checked behind with his top pair and top kicker. The {9-Diamonds} on the river made both players check again and Urbanovich took it down.

Hand #21: Altergott opened the hijack for 115,000 with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Thomas Muehloecker in the big blind flatted with {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The flop came {J-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and neither player hit. 290,000 in the pot and Muehloecker checked. Altergott bet 105,000 and Muehloecker instantly folded.

Sammartino Pays Off Kurganov

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #13: Max Altergott opened to 90,000 with {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} in the cutoff, and Dzmitry Urbanovich three-bet to 265,000 with {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} from the big blind. That was enough to chase Altergott away.

Hand #14: Igor Kurganov raised to 100,000 from early position with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and nobody else wanted to play.

Hand #15: Action folded to the blinds, and Thomas Muehloecker completed with {6-Spades}{4-Spades}. Erik Seidel raised to 115,000 with an unknown hand, and Muehloecker didn't think that was too expensive for the suited gapper. Seidel bet 90,000 on the {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}, and Muehloecker thought things over for awhile before making it 265,000. Seidel called, and the {a-Hearts} arrived on the turn. Muehloecker slowed down with a check, and he folded to Seidel's 435,000.

Hand #16: Dario Sammartino raised to 90,000 with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} in middle position, and Kurganov defended his blind with {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Kurganov checked the {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}, and he called 100,000. Action went check-check on the {3-Clubs}, and Kurganov got 145,000 of value on the {3-Hearts} river.

Hand #8: Muehloecker limped in from the small blind holding {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Seidel checked his big blind with {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Muehloecker bet 60,000. Seidel folded and Muehloecker took it down.

Hand #9: Holz opened from early/middle position to 90,000 holding {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. His neighbor, Sammartino, had the {A-Spades} showing (the other card was obscured) and three-bet to 275,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Holz and the young German folded.

Hand #10: Seidel opened the button to 90,000, both cards not showing up in the graphics. Kurganov in the small blind, with{J-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, three-bet to 225,000. Altergott quickly folded his big blind, action was back on Seidel. Seidel called.

{Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} on the flop and Kurganov bet 210,000. Seidel instantly folded.

Hand #11: Igor Kurganov, with the {J-Spades} showing, opened for 95,000 on the button. Altergott quickly folded his small blind, Holz with the {7-Diamonds} showing, called from the big blind. Hand #6: Igor Kurganov raised to 90,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and got calls from Fedor Holz in the cutoff with {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Dzmitry Urbanovich in the big blind with {5-}{5-}. The flop brought {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, and action checked to Holz, who bet 155,000 with his overpair and flush draw. Urbanovich quickly mucked, but Kurganov woke up with a raise to 525,000. Holz called, seeing the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Kurganov pushed all in with a stack that covered Holz's 1.5 million, and Holz let his hand go after about a three-minute tank.

Hand #7: Action folded to Urbanovich, who picked up {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} in the small blind. He completed the blind, and Thomas Muehloecker checked {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Urbanovich bet 65,000 with top set on the {j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop, and Muehloecker called. The {q-Hearts} gave Muehlocker a worthless two pair on the turn, and Urbanovich checked to him. Muehloecker bet 105,000, and Urbanovich shipped it for 465,000. Muehlocker quickly called but saw he was drawing dead, and the meaningless river was a {5-Clubs}.
