Bendik Takes Out Two

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Jan Bendik, the EPT Season 9 Player of the Year, just knocked out both Matuesz Moolhuizen and Aram Sargsyan in a huge pot.

Moolhuizen raised to 6,000 and Sargsyan called from the cutoff after which Bendik three-bet from the big blind to 18,000. Both his opponents called.

The flop brought out {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Bendik bet 30,000, after which Moolhuizen and Sargsyan moved all in. Bendik quickly made the call and he put to players at risk.

"A set?" Moolhuizen cried, as he was visibly distraught by being faced with two opponents while all in for his tournament life.

Moolhuizen showed {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} versus Bendik's {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Sargsyan's {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {K-Spades}, {3-Spades} and Bendik raked in this huge pot. Moolhuizen was far from happy and he stormed out of the room.

"It's so insane," Moolhuizen said afterwards, "The same exact thing happened at the PCA."

"I knew he was strong," Moolhuizen said about Bendik's preflop three-bet, "So I just called preflop, and on the flop I only had about 100,000 chips so I can't really get away from queens."
