Who Will Take Down The Title?
It's final table day here at the PokerStars.it European Poker Tour Sanremo Main Event. Eight players are still in contention for that first prize of €476,100.
The final table will start at noon local time (in one hour). As there will be a live stream with hole cards, the coverage will begin on an hour delay. So get your refreshing finger ready as from 1 pm local time PokerNews will again supply you with all the coverage you can ask for. We'll recap the action you see on the live stream, bring you the best photos and the video team will try to talk to the players on their way to that coveted title.
Jordan Westmorland is the man to beat today as he starts the day with more chips than anyone; 3,330,000. That's 83 big blinds as we'll kick of the action with blind level 26 (20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante). Westmorland is seated in seat 1 and will start the day as the chip leader. He's out of position against the number two in chips though, local hero Giacomo Fundaro is in seat two with 3,100,000.
Emmanuel Pariset showed no other move than to just open push for the last two days. Will he show us he knows some other tricks to? Can Vicky Coren-Mitchell become the first two time EPT champion?
