Shakerchi, Ivey, Patel, and Ladouceur
The EPT Grand Final has never been the easiest of tournaments to play. Of course, the big money attracts the qualifiers looking for a big pay day, but it also attracts the biggest players from around the globe. Table 13 is particular tough as it features several players who've all been around the block.
Two of them squared of just now. On a Talal Shakerchi was seen betting out 3,000 from middle position. Phil Ivey in the hijack was the one calling and he called a 4,500 bet on the -turn as well. Not much later at the same table we saw Shakerchi involved in a pot again. PokerStars Team Online player Marc-Andre Ladouceur opened for 2,200 under the gun plus two and Emil Patel made the call in the hijack. Shakerchi in the big blind added 1,200 to see a flop as well.
Shakerchi checked on and Ladouceur bet out 3,500. Patel folded, Shakerchi made the call. Both players checked the on the turn and the completed the board. Shakerchi checked, and called the 7,800 bet that Ladouceur made.
Ladouceur tabled and had to split the pot with Shakerchi who showed .
