Kurganov Gets Some Back

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #140: Kurganov limped from the small blind with {J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Cates checked his big blind with {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Both players checked {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and the {J-Hearts} fell on the turn. Kurganov bet out 135,000 and Cates made the call.

The {K-Clubs} on the river made both players the same hand. Kurganov and Cates checked, and chopped it up. And you know what they say...

Hand #141: Kurganov had {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} on the button and opened for 200,000. Cates folded his small blind, Colman called from the big blind with {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} on the flop which made both a pair; Kurganov top, Colman bottom. Colman checked to Kurganov who bet 280,000. Colman folded his pair and Kurganov won it right there.

Hand #142: Cates opened the button for 200,000 with {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Kurganov made the call with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} from the big blind. Both players checked the {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop. The {10-Spades} on the turn gave Cates a pair and Kurganov a 91% hand with the straight. Kurganov bet 280,000 and Cates made the call.

1,040,000 in the pot and the river came the {7-Spades}. Kurganov bet out 740,000 but Cates folded even before Kurganov had his chips over the line.
