As Level 21 started, Bryn Kenney came sprinting into the tournament area. Initially, he sat in the wrong seat - his stack was moved at the end of the break - and finally, after some direction from the tournament staff, he found his home.
Luckily he was just in time for the pitch, because he doubled on the very first hand.
Pratyush Buddiga opened to 25,000 from late position, Pascal Vos three-bet to 58,000 from the small blind, and Kenney moved all in for 296,000 from the big blind. Buddiga quickly folded, and Vos tank-called.
