Micah Raskin Eliminated in 6th Place (132,000)

Micah Raskin
Micah Raskin

Angelo Recchia's great level has continued after he eliminated Micah Raskin in a hand that had the guys in the commentary box in hysterics.

Raskin opened from under the gun and called when Recchia three-bet him from the cut-off.

The flop fanned {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Raskin check-raised Recchia's 250,000 c-bet up to 500,000. Recchia then three-bet to 875,000 and was called.

The turn fell {7-Diamonds} and Recchia bet 626,000. Raskin check-called leaving himself with just 330,000 behind. On the {j-Hearts} river the American check-called off his remaining stack with {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for a full house. He had been rivered though as Recchia opened {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a bigger full house.

Tompkins Doubles Through Lacay

Ludovic Lacay raised to 200,000 under the gun only to have Jason Tompkins, who was next to act, move all in for 750,000. The rest of the players folded, and Lacay made the call.

Showdown
Lacay: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Tompkins: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Tompkins was in a great spot to double, and that's exactly what he did when the board ran out {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

One For Lacay

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Ludovic Lacay raised to 200,000 from under the gun plus one and was called by Jason Lavallee's small blind and Angelo Recchia's big blind.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{j-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and all three players decided to check their option, prompting the {6-Hearts} to fall on fourth street. Two more checks went to Lacay and he fired 225,000. Lavallee called and Recchia got out of the way.

The {3-Diamonds} finished the board and Lavallee checked. Lacay pushed out yet another bet and Lavallee folded his hand.

Litvinov Doubles and Celebrates in Style

Artem Litvinov
Artem Litvinov

Artem Litvinov just doubled up through Jason Tompkins and celebrated by walking to the edge of the stage where he did a body-splitting roundhouse kick followed by a bout of air boxing.

The action opened with a raise to 200,000 from Angelo Recchia before both Litvinov and Tompkins both moved in behind. The Italian folded and left the other two to it.

Litvinov: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Tompkins: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran an action {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Tompkins flopped a set but couldn't fade the Russian's flush draw.

Raskin Doubles

Micah Raskin raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Artem Litvinov called from the button. The blinds got out of the way and the flop came down {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Raskin led for 350,000 and Litvinov went into the tank for about two minutes before finally calling. The {J-Diamonds} turned and Raskin slowed down with a check. Litvinov wasted no time moving 800,000 into the middle which was a bet that was enough to put Raskin all in.

Now it was Raskin who went into the tank for about a minute before finally calling with {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for top pair and a flush draw. Litvinov showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The river bricked out for Litvinov and Raskin was able to score a double up.

Lavallee Slips Further Back

Jason Lavallee has lost further ground to Ludovic Lacay after he had to give up on a hand versus Angelo Recchia.

The action folded around to Lavallee in the small blind and he raised to 275,000. Recchia peeled from big blind and called a 280,000 c-bet on the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Lavallee fired another bullet for 450,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn and was called once more.

The river came {7-Spades} to put a fourth spade out there and Lavallee checked to face an all in bet of a little more than two million. Lavallee only had {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a pair of twos and folded. Recchia failed to show his cards to the camera.
