Duval Barrels, Jensen Goes to the River
From the cutoff, Jason Duval came in with a raise to 26,000. Frederik Jensen flatted on the button, and the two were heads-up to the flop.
It came , and Duval's continuation bet was quickly called. We admittedly missed the bet amount as we were distracted by a hand on the adjacent table. In any event, we did see the amount of Duval's turn bet. It was 64,000 behind the , and Jensen called again. The river brought the and a third barrel from Duval — 89,000. By this point, Jensen only had about 260,000 chips left in front of him, and he spent a couple minutes deliberating before folding out of the way.
Everyone had a bit of a go at Duval on Day 1 when he accidentally flatted the river with a Royal Flush, but he's earned back a great deal of respect in the following days. With that pot, he's crested the million-chip mark.
