Queens no Good for Petersen

Mickey Petersen might be regretting flat calling with pocket queens in a five-way pot as he's out of the door now. William Thorson took the stack and retold the story of the Team PokerStars Online's demise.

There was a raise to 1,000 and two flat calls (including Thorson on the button) before Albert Bernardo three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind. Petersen cold called from the big blind and all three other players still in the pot called.

The flop fell {6-}{6-}{4-} and Bernardo led for 13,000. Petersen called out of of a 30,000-chip stack and saw two folds before Thorson raised to 27,000. Bernardo folded but the Dane committed the rest of his chips. Call.

Petersen was in a world of trouble as Thorson had trips with {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The board bricked out and the EPT Copenhagen champion won't be breaking any records here.
