Queens no Good for Petersen
Mickey Petersen might be regretting flat calling with pocket queens in a five-way pot as he's out of the door now. William Thorson took the stack and retold the story of the Team PokerStars Online's demise.
There was a raise to 1,000 and two flat calls (including Thorson on the button) before Albert Bernardo three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind. Petersen cold called from the big blind and all three other players still in the pot called.
The flop fell and Bernardo led for 13,000. Petersen called out of of a 30,000-chip stack and saw two folds before Thorson raised to 27,000. Bernardo folded but the Dane committed the rest of his chips. Call.
