Schwartz's Turn to Shove
Action folded to Artem Litvinov and he raised to 55,000 from the hijack seat. In the cutoff seat, Noah Schwartz reraised all in for 384,000. Play folded back to Litvinov and he began to tank. Litvinov is a very slow-acting play and likes to take his time with his decisions. When there's a lot of money on the line, no one can blame him.
At one point while he was tanking, Litvinov flipped a coin into the air, caught it and looked at it. But, he didn't make a decision straight after. Instead, he tanked a bit more. While he was thinking, Team PokerStars Pro Max Lykov piped up and said, "Maybe you should flip the coin again."
Litvinov tanked for a little bit longer. He eventually pushed his hand forward, but peeled back the corner one last time prior to folding so that Lykov could see what he was letting go of. No one else saw the hand.
After being pushed the pot, Schwartz told Lykov that he shouldn't be saying something like he did during the hand. Lykov said that he didn't mean anything by it, but the table seemed to be in agreement that nothing should be said by a player not in the hand.
"We're playing for a lot of money," said Schwartz. "What if he flipped the coin again and calls and I've got four high?"
"You almost always have four high in that spot," joked Igor Kurganov.
