Varonen Stops the Rot
Lauri Varonen had lost a few pots where he called three-bets only to fold to c-bets on flops. He's got his stack going back in the right direction and cost Mickey Petersen a few chips as a result.
The two had made it to the river of a board. Petersen checked from the small blind and took his time to call the 151,000 bet that his Finnish opponent laid out. Varonen opened for the nuts and scooped as the Team Online mucked.
Edit: Mickey Petersen's Tweet filled in some of the gaps in the above hand, "Had a really good start to the day but just flopped top two vs a straight and called three streets. Got 400k left, avg is 472 and 18 left."
