Timex Stops Ticking
The EPT will have to wait at least one more stop to crown its first double champion.
Martin Finger raised to 35,000 to open the pot, and Mike McDonald reraised to 81,000 total. Finger came right back over the top with another raise to 152,000, and now "Timex" flatted to see a flop.
It came , and McDonald called a continuation bet of 105,000. That left him with about 525,000 behind, and Finger shoved on him after the landed on the turn. McDonald had , and he called off the rest of his stack. Unfortunately for the EPT4 Dortmund champ, he'd run into the of Finger, and a blank on the river has ended his day prematurely in 27th place.
Finger is stil stacking up that pot, but it should move him up over 2 million if our gorilla math is correct.
Fortunately for Timex, the 10,000 High Roller event is just getting under way on the other side of the room, and he's headed straight over to the registration desk to spend some of that money he just earned from this Main Event cash.
