Kenney Or Can't He?
Level 8
: 300/600, 75 ante
In middle position, Benny Spindler came into the pot with a raise to 1,400, and Bryn Kenney three-bet him to 3,300. Next door, though, Jeff Hakim wanted to play for even more. He bumped it up to 6,800 straight, and Spindler tanked for ages before folding. Kenney made the call, though, and off they went to a heads-up flop.
They'd both check through the turn on a board, but the river put four to the straight on board. When Kenney checked a third time, Hakim put out a bet of 11,000, and Kenney's cards instantly hit the muck. He's left with about 55,000 now, and that pot moves Hakim up over 50,000 in his own right.
