Darcourt Done In
It's the end of the road for the pink-tipped Frenchman.
Guillaume Darcourt was down around 170,000 when he opened what would be his final pot to 29,000 from middle position. In the big blind, Dmitrij Fadeev waved both of his hands forward, non-verbally declaring that he was all in. Darcourt didn't waste much time calling, and the two men were flipping for the pot.
Showdown
Darcourt:
Fadeev:
The flop was pretty darn good for Darcourt, keeping his fours safe and stealing two outs from Fadeev in the process. The turn didn't look like too much trouble, but it did give Fadeev another six outs to work with. He'd take full advantage of those newfound outs.
River:
That's a counterfeit card for Darcourt, and it allows Fadeev to earn himself the pot and the knockout. With it comes a chip increase to about 700,000, though we'll have to wait for him to stack up before we can count him any more accurately than that. For Darcourt, it's another tough entrance deep in a Main Event. This one comes with about 44 players left.
