Nieto Nets Runner-Runner to Bust Nebezhev

From under the gun, Khazret Nebezhev raised all in for 185,000 in chips. Action folded two seats over to Jose Nieto and he reraised all in for about 855,000. Everyone behind him quickly folded and he was left heads up with Nebezhev.

Nieto held the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and was looking to bust Nebezhev and his {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} in this coinflip.

The flop came down and hit both players when the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} fell. Nieto hit top pair with top kicker, but was still well behind the middle set for Nebezhev.

The turn brought the {Q-Clubs} to pair the board and that gave Nieto trips. He was still behind Nebezhev's full house and needed an ace, queen or three on the river to send the Russian out the door.

The river smacked the felt with the {3-Diamonds} and sent an uproar through the onlooking spectators. Nieto had come from well behind on the flop in amazing runner-runner fashion to make a better full house than Nebezhev and win the hand.

With that pot, Nieto moved to over a million in chips and Nebezhev hit the rail.
