B?kke Gets Some Back

Russell Carson raised to 250,000 on the button and Allan B?kke called from the big blind; they saw a flop.

Flop: {6-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {K-Spades}

Both players checked, and they saw a turn.

Turn: {4-Clubs}

B?kke now bet out 275,000 and Carson made the call. The river naturally followed.

River: {7-Hearts}

This time B?kke bet 410,000 and again Carson called. B?kke turned over {K-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} and presumably it was good as Carson mucked.

Putting His New Chips to Use

Johannes Strassmann raised to 250,000 from the button, and Russell Carson pushed him out with a reraise to 750,000 from the big blind.

Two hands later, Russell Carson opened the pot from the button, and Johannes Strassmann was the three-bettor. This time, though, Carson moved all in on a four bet, and Strassmann quickly yielded.

Carson Doubles; Cruises to the Chip Lead

Russell Carson raised to 250,000 on the button and Allan B?kke shoved all in with the big stack. Carson immediately called all in for about 3.5 million. The hands were:

Carson: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
B?kke: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The flop made it intersting, coming out {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} giving B?kke a straight draw. The {2-Diamonds} turn card took away some outs from B?kke and the {J-Diamonds} river sealed the hand for Carson, propelling him to the chip lead with over 7 million.

Allan B?kke drops to a little over 4 million.
