Strassmann Getting Crafty

Johannes Strassmann raised to 75,000 from the hijack and Allan B?kke called on the button.

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Strassmann check-called 85,000. The turn brought the {7-Spades} and both checked, delivering the {A-Clubs} river card. Both checked again and Strassmann showed a winning {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, clearly having tried to induce B?kke to bet.

Strassmann raised the next hand as well, getting no callers.

Daniel Van Kalkeren Eliminated in 8th Place (€37,000)

Daniel Van Kalkeren - 8th Place
Daniel Van Kalkeren - 8th Place
Daniel Van Kalkeren went all in for 366,000 from middle position and Alain Medesan re-raised all in from the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the hands were revealed.

Van Kalkeren: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Medesan: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Van Kalkeren busted in 8th place.

Alain Medesan is up to about 1,400,000.

First Flop

Allan B?kke (yes, we worked out how to stick the a and the e together!) raised it up to a slightly-more-than-minimum 65,000 and Johannes Strassmann called in the big blind. However, come the {7-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} flop Strassmann checked and then folded to a 75,000 bet from B?kke.
