Piper is a poker professional from London. This is his first EPT but not his first big tournament – he competed in several WSOP side events last summer as well as WSOPE side events in London last year. He failed to cash in those events but won ￡15,000 in a recent tourney at the International Club in London two weeks ago. He said: “Whatever happens at San Remo from now on, I’ll be delighted. I haven’t had a single bad beat, all my hands have held up and I’ve had action on most of them.”
