Klein Pushes Petersen Off

First hand back, and Jesper Petersen raised to 85,000. Morten Klein in the big blind made the call.

Klein checked and Petersen bet 115,000 in position. Klein, however, check-raised to 235,000. Petersen called and they saw a turn.

Turn: {K-Clubs}

Klein now bet out 250,000, forcing Petersen into his own private tank of despair for a while. When he emerged, he folded, and was rewarded by Klein showing him {2-Hearts}

for nothing more than the worst flush draw.

Klein is now up to 2.1 million - second place in the chip counts. Not bad for a man who came into Day 5 as the official short stack.
