Eyal Avitan raised from the cutoff, only for Arnaud Mattern to reraise from the button. Avitan called, and they saw a {J-Hearts}

flop, which Avitan checked.

Mattern, who incidentally has finally located some croissants (he's been looking for some since Day 1), bet 45,500. Avitan thought long and hard, and then called.

The turn was the {K-Spades}

and this time Avitan check-called 82,500, before checking the {K-Diamonds}

river as well. Mattern bet 86,000, and Avitan tanked up for a worryingly long time before calling and flipping over {A-Hearts}

- and the muck from Mattern meant that he was right.

A few hands later and Avitan raised to 18,000. Mattern shoved for his last 132,000 and Luca Pagano, by the by, folded {A-?}
