Check-Raise Bluffaments from Senninger

Blind on blind, Nikolai Senninger and Aaron Gustavson limp/checked their way to a {9-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {3-Hearts} flop, which Senninger checked. Gustavson bet 160,000, and now Senninger raised to 490,000. After a moment, Gustavson called.

They saw a {K-Clubs} turn and now both checked, and proceeded to check the {A-Spades} river as well. Gustavson turned over {10-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} which was good to take the pot -- Senninger just showed the {J-Spades} and mucked the other card.

Eastgate Fires Back

Aaron Gustavson raises to 240,000 from the button. Peter Eastgate makes it 795,000 in the small blind, Gustavson calls fairly speedily.

{Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} {5-Clubs}

Both players check.

{10-Spades}

Eastgate fires out a fairly large bet and Gustavson quickly folds.

Eastgate Moves On Up

Aaron Gustavson raised from the button and Peter Eastgate, now the short stack, called from the small blind.

Both players checked the {6-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} flop and Eastgate check-called a 360,000 bet from Gustavson on the {5-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Eastgate now bet out. Gustavson folded at speed, and Eastgate nudged his way into second place, although the stack are very close now.

Senninger Wins 3 Million Chip Pot From Eastgate...

It's the Red-dy Money Round!
It's the Red-dy Money Round!
Senninger raises the first hand of three-way action to 275,000 but Peter Eastgate immediately makes it 795,000 from the big blind. Senninger interestingly chooses to call.

{8-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {8-Spades}

Eastgate bets out 835,000, about half the pot and Senninger counts out the chips and just calls with about 3 million chips behind. The turn is the {10-Diamonds} and Peter Eastgate thinks for a minute before checking, Senninger then bets just 775,000 on the turn into a pot of about 3,200,000.

It's perplexing, but Eastgate folds to this very small bet.

Gustavson Back in the Lead

Nikolai Senninger raised to 275,000 only for Aaron Gustavson to make it 600,000 from the button. Peter Eastgate squinted at the pot in a concerned manner but folded; Gudvangen passed too and the action was back on Senninger, who eventually called.

They saw a {9-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {10-Spades} flop and Senninger checked. Gustavson, looking very worried but we are beginning to think that's just his regular default expression, bet 775,000. A dwell, and a call.

They saw a {4-Clubs} turn and Senninger checked again -- and this time Gustavson bet 2 million. Another dwell, and this time Senninger folded, his expression nicely complementing the sad knocked-over Lion King toy next to his depleted stack.

Gustavson - back in the lead with 9.1 million, almost half the chips in play
Senninger - down to 4 million
