Kati Jerney, who was last lady standing at the EPT San Remo a few months back, has taken a bit of a knock after an excellent start and is now down to an around-average 35,000.

We caught up with the action on the {6-Clubs}

flop where Jerney had either bet out or check-raised to 3,000. Either way, her opponent called, and they saw a turn.

Turn: {Q-Spades}

Jerney bet out 2,000, and her plucky opponent called.

River: {J-Clubs}

Jerney bet out 2,000 again and this time her opponent made it 10,000. "Call," she announced, although she failed to actually put the chips in the middle before flipping her pocket kings. Nevertheless it was agreed that she had made the call, and duly paid up when her opponent turned over pocket jacks for a lucky rivered set.
