Patrick Serda Eliminated in 10th Place ($67,486)

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Patrick Serda
Patrick Serda

Patrick Serda limped from under the gun, Brian Altman called on the button and Bin Weng checked the big blind. The dealer fanned out {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} on the flop and action checked to Serda who bet 150,000.

Altman raised to 450,000, Weng folded and Serda called to see the {9-Spades} turn. Both players checked to the {q-Diamonds} river, Serda checked once more and Altman announced that he was all-in.

Serda thought for a moment, using a time extension chip before he ultimately elected to call, tabling {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for kings up but it was not good enough when Altman showed {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, giving him three nines.

Altman scooped the pot, sending Serda out the door in tenth place and the unofficial final table has now formed.

Serda Finds a Much-Needed Duck Against Altman

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Patrick Serda
Patrick Serda

Patrick Serda raised to 775,000 from under the gun and Brian Altman called on the button. The dealer spread out {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} on the flop, Serda continued for 395,000, leaving just 10,000 behind.

Altman called and the {j-Spades} landed on the turn. Both players checked through to showdown with a {2-Clubs} hitting the felt on the river to complete the board.

Altman tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a counterfeited pair of nickels that turned into jacks and sixes with a five-kicker. Serda slammed down {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} with a smile as he had the absolute nut-low on the turn, which became a boat on the river to take down the pot for a full double through Altman.
