Gordon Hot Out of the Gate
Arnaldo "AG" Gordon hit the 2019 Summer Poker Open for two five-figure cashes. In the Kick-Off, he finished 9th for $17,646 and followed that up with a stellar performance in the Almighty Stack, finishing 5th for $51,532.
Proving that it wasn't a fluke, he returned in September for the Borgata Poker Open and posted two more nice cashes. In the Black Chip Bounty, he finished 3rd for just under $20,000, then in the Almighty, just missed another final table, finishing 11th for $9,370.
Last month he turned up for the $100,000 GTD Saturday Series, making yet another final table appearance, finishing 6th for $11,094. In less than three years, he's run up more than $115,000 in tournament earnings and is showing no signs of slowing down. If the pattern holds, he should be posting a couple of big cashes during this series.
