Alim Slips, But Still a Big Stack

Level 18
: 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Markus Alim was the chip leader by a smidge at the at start of play.
His stack has slipped a little, down to ~1.95 million, but that still leaves him in or near the lead.
During the $600 Deepstack Kick-Off NLH event, Alim was cruising at the final two tables, then he tangled with Victor Ramdin. All the chips went in and Alim turned a flush, but then got rivered by Ramdin, who made a full house. Alim finished in 11th place, just missing out on the final table.
Perhaps he can find redemption here in the Almighty.
