Senior Style Steal
Level 6
: 150/300, 50 ante
With the flop reading and only 2,400 or so in the pot, we were surprised to see not one but two of the baby blue T5000 chips placed in front of James Miller's stack.
Apparently Miller had checked to Ben Tarzia, who fired out a 1,500 feeler bet, before making the massive overbet.
"Ten-thousand?!" was Tarzia's response to the raise. "I go fifteen-hundred, you go ten-thousand... must be two-pair I guess. Nice hand."
Sure enough, Miller tabled the for top-two, and the man who final tabled the Seniors NLHE Championship at the World Series of Poker this past summer snookered the young Tarzia with an unconventional play.
