2014 Borgata Spring Poker Open
Anthony Alberto just chipped up nicely after rivering a straight.
After one player opened for the standard raise, and another called to take a flop, Alberta came along by flatting from the button with .
The flop came down and all three players committed 1,200 to see the turn, which brought an to the table. The action was checked to Alberto and he fired out a bet of 2,000, folding one opponent while the other flatted.
On the river - which completed Alberto's up-and-down straight draw, his opponent check-shoved after a 4,000 wager. Alberto called the player down and dragged in a sizable pot to get his day started on the right foot, two days after making a deep run in Event 9, where he finished in 17th place.

The weekend is here at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and what better way to get it started then to take part in a poker tournament at the Borgata Spring Poker Open. We're expecting a huge turnout in Event 12, a $400 $100,000 Guaranteed NLHE Re-entry tournament. This one day tournament will feature 30 minute levels throughout the day and every player will start with 20,000 in tournament chips.
Registration is open through the end of Level 9 and players may re-enter as many times as they wish prior to that point.
