Elias Takes Another Big One

Level 8, Blinds: 800/1,600 (200)

Anthony "supremetny" Chin raised to 4,000 early, and Jaime "mooseman1710" Reyes called from the middle. Big blind Darren "Darren_Elias" Elias defended with a call to the flop of {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Elias checked, and Chin bet 10,800. Both players called to the {6-Spades} turn. It checked around to the {8-Spades} river where it checked through again, and despite four spades on the board, Elias took it down with {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for flopped top pair as apparently, no one had a spade.

Elias Gets Some Back

Level 6, Blinds: 500/1,000 (125)

It's been a rough start for series headliner Darren "Darren_Elias" Elias as he was down to less than 50,000 chips at one point, but he got some chips back at the end of Level 6 with a river shove. It was blind on blind against Anthony "supremetny" Chin. Elias raised to 4,000 and Chin called to see {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} on the flop.

Both players checked to the {5-Clubs} turn where Elias potted for 8,875. Chin called and the river was the {9-Spades}. Elias potted again for 26,625, and Chin gave up his hand after some time in the tank.

Dodd With Big Lead

Level 3, Blinds: 250/500 (60)

Ryan "Whosyourdoddy" Dodd has taken over the chip lead and busted the first player of the day when he got there with a straight. Dodd three-bet before the flop, after a raised to 1,000 from "DixonKuntz" and a call from Don "dhimp20" Himpele. Three players saw the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and action checked around.

The turn was {6-Diamonds} and "DixonKuntz" bet 6,780, enough to push Himpele out, but Dodd stuck around to the {7-Diamonds} river. "DixonKuntz" bet 13,560, then called it off after Dodd shoved with more.

"DixonKuntz": {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Ryan "Whosyourdoddy" Dodd: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Dodd spiked a straight on the river after "DixonKuntz" found two pair on the flop.
