Welcome to Event #15 $1,060 No-Limit Hold’em Heads-Up Bracket of the March Mania series on BetMGM Michigan. The lone heads-up tournament of this 19-event series sees the biggest buy in of the series thus far as well as an additional $10,000 guaranteed to first, making this event potentially the biggest first-place prize of the entire series thus far.

The Michigan leg of the BetMGM March Mania is one of the three state-based series that also include identical schedules in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The heads-up event will play out with a 32-player cap on the field with a bracket system similar to how March Madness is structured, giving this event added significance to the month of March.

The Michigan leg of the series has seen three players claim multiple wins with; "jdrisco6" winning Event #5 Phase 1 of Phase 2 Main Event and Event #12 $320 NLH PKO, "Jwitty" winning Event #6 $215 PLO 6-Max and Event #8 $535 NLH Progressive Knockout 6-Max, and Chris “TheDuke8605” Ball taking down Event #10 $320 NLH 8-Max and Event #14 $215 PLO 6-Max. Ball is confirmed to be playing the heads-up event and will look to claim a third title this March Mania series.

One other player confirmed to be making an appearance in this heads-up tournament is poker vlogger Andrew Neeme. Neeme carries along with him a large following of over 175,000 subscribers on YouTube and is playing as a BetMGM ambassador. He will also be livestreaming the event for his YouTube audience to watch.

Action is set to kick off at 5 p.m. CDT. Players will begin the tournament with 50,000 in starting chips with blinds starting at 250/500 and a 75 chip ante. The blinds will last 8 minutes each and this event will play down to a winner as players are eliminated via the brackets.
