Herstein Versus Elias
Level 5
: 200/400, 400 ante
Darren Elias was on the button and raised an open-limp from the hijack to 1,400. Gary Herstein called in the small blind, as did the original limper, and the three saw a flop of .
Herstein, first to act, led out with a bet of 2,200. The hijack immediately folded, sending action over to Elias. Elias thought for around a minute and then grabbed his remaining chips and committed them to the center, totaling 8,100. It then became Herstein's turn in the tank, and he thought about his decision for close to the same amount of time as Elias.
Eventually, Herstein looked back at his cards and slid them under the chips he had already bet, continuing to slide both forward to the middle, earning Elias the pot to give both players identical stacks.
