The flop came
and Putt had flopped a set to aces as well as the jack-high flush draw. However Dwan still had outs with the king-high flush draw and was praying for another diamond. The turn delivered with the 
giving Dwan the flush to reclaim the lead. Putt had a redraw to a full house and was looking for the board to pair, but the blank 
on the river sent him to the rail.
