Aussie Millions Main Event Two Eliminations Off Redraw at Start of Day 4
The 2019 Aussie Millions Main Event resumes today at 12:30 p.m. with all 38 remaining players guaranteed AU$31,200. Today the tournament will play down to a final table of seven which is due to be reached in the early hours of Saturday morning local time.
Although the players have been redrawn ahead of Day 4, the tournament stands just two eliminations from a full redraw to a six-handed format which it will remain until a winner is crowned on Sunday.
That being said, the system has thrown up some interesting table draws including first and second in chips Mike Del Vecchio (2,403,000) and Dingxiang Ong (1,402,000) seated together at Table 31. Meanwhile, Matthew Wakeman (1,292,000), David Wang (1,247,000) and Andrew Hinrichsen (1,230,000) occupy the next three spots in the chip counts.
Other notable players still in the hunt for the AU$1,850,000 first prize money and the title of Aussie Millions Main Event champion are Bryn Kenney (782,000) who will have to forego entering the AU$100,000 Challenge which starts today if he continues his deep Main Event run.
Also still in are Day 2 chip leader Pim De Goede (780,000), Michael Addamo (623,000), Quan Zhou (528,000), Farid Jattin (493,000), Vojtech Ruzicka (443,000), Jack Salter (239,000), Cole Swannack (204,000) and Dominik Panka (185,000).
