Four-bet Pot to Schwippert

Level 2 : 200/400, 50 ante

Jan Schwippert raised to 1,000 on the button, Alex Foxen three-bet to 3,000 from the small blind, Schwippert four-bet to 8,200 and Foxen called.

Postflop, action slowed down on a {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{4-Clubs} rundown. Schwippert was the final one to act on the river and flicked in two T-5,000 chips, announcing what appeared to be 9,200. It didn't matter, as Foxen instantly released his hand.

Greenwood Takes One

Level 2 : 200/400, 50 ante

Sam Greenwood raised to 1,100 on the button and got two callers. Everyone checked the {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board until the last action, when Greenwood bet 1,600. Jan Schwippert folded but Alex Foxen called, mucking to {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

In between pots, the players are cajoling Dietrich Fast and some of the other known high stakes regs to sit in, but Fast maintained he can't play yet.

Foxen Battling Back

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jan Schwippert checked in the big blind on {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Alex Foxen bet 500 from the button. Schwippert made it 1,450 and Foxen called. Schwippert bet 1,800 on the {3-Diamonds} turn and Foxen called again. Both players checked the {8-Hearts} and Schwippert showed {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for an airball.

Foxen took it with {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The next hand, Sam Greenwood raised on the button to 600 and Schwippert made it 2,700 to go. Foxen put in the cold four-bet to 6,900 and that chased both opponents away.

Hearts Good to Schwippert Again

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jan Schwippert checked from the small blind on a board of {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and called 3,500 from Alex Foxen, an overbet into a pot of about 2,500. The river brought a {j-Hearts} and two checks. Foxen turned over {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a set but mucked with a sigh when Schwippert showed {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, connecting with the board's four-flush.

Schwippert Through the Back Door

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jan Schwippert opened for 600 on the button and called 2,600 from Alex Foxen in the small blind. Both checked the flop for a board of {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Foxen checked and called 1,800. He checked the {a-Hearts} river and Schwippert bet 5,400. Alex Foxen, pictured in an earlier event.

Alex Foxen and Sam Greenwood saw a {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop for the minimum, and Foxen check-called 200. He checked again on the {q-Diamonds} but Greenwood bet much bigger with 1,200. Foxen called again and the {k-Spades} fell. He checked and Greenwood fired big with 3,000. This time, Foxen put in a raise to 10,700.

Greenwood instantly folded.

Foxen Takes a Showdown

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jan Schwippert defended his big blind from a raise to 600 by Alex Foxen, who was on the button. Schwippert check-called a continuation-bet on {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} and then 1,600 on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Both checked the {4-Hearts} river and Schwippert showed {q-Spades}{7-Hearts} for third pair on the flop, but it was no good against {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.
