Early Rush for Burns

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Kahle Burns check-raised a bet of 18,000 by Jan-Eric Schwippert to 54,000 and the German called to see the {5-Clubs} turn. Both players checked and did so again on the {3-Hearts} river to see Burns rake in the pot with {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for aces and fives.

Schwippert then raised to 26,000 and Burns three-bet out of the small blind to 104,000 in order to force a fold.

Schwippert's next raise to 26,000 saw Michael Lim call in the cutoff and Burns three-bet the button to 102,000, claiming the pot uncontested.

Burns got to taste some of his own medicine against Mustapha Kanit when the latter check-raised the {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop from 36,000 to 118,000 and let go before Burns raised to 27,000 and was called by Schwippert in the big blind. Both players checked the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and a bet of 51,000 on the {Q-Hearts} turn to claim the next pot.
