Kahle Burns won the first hand of the day when his raise to 27,000 won the blinds and antes.
In the next hand, Mustapha Kanit opened to 27,000 on the button and Jan-Eric Schwippert three-bet to 121,000 in the small blind. Kanit called and both checked and Schwippert then bet the 
turn for 90,000. Kanit let go and both players were separated by just two big blinds after the hand.
