Nice Read by Huang
When we just arrived at Kevin O'Donnell's table when the flop showed . On our first glance at the action we noticed something interesting, and O'Donnell said the following.
"This table has been unbelievably slow, but this time it's actually warranted."
The pot contained about 14,000 chips when Xiuming Huang had put out a bet of 70,000, putting his opponent all in for right around 50,000.
Huang's opponent went into the tank for well over five minutes before the clock was called, and during this whole process the bettor was casually reading his book.
Huang had a book leaning against the rail, and he turned quite a few pages before his opponent eventually folded.
Huang's opponent threw face up into the muck, and the entire table seemed to be in shock. Stevan Chew's jaw almost dropped on the rail, and the other players seemed baffled as well.
"What did he show?" Huang said, as he was finishing up a page while his opponent folded face-up.
"He folded kings," one of the other players said.
"Good fold," Huang quietly said
"Yeah, for you!" another player chimed in.
"You had two nines, max!" another chimed in, but Huang remained silent and mucked his cards while he raked in the pot.
