Kornuth's Turn to Double Through Kurganov

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Igor Kurganov opened for 20,000 on the button and Dominik Nitsche and Chance Kornuth called from the small and big blinds respectively. All three players checked the {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, and then action checked to Kurganov on the {8-Diamonds} turn.

He bet 32,000, Nitsche called, and Kornuth check-raised all in for 150,000 total. Kurganov made the call and Nitsche folded what he claimed was a ten.

Kornuth: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Kurganov: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Kurganov held the stone nuts, but Kornuth could double with a diamond on the river. Much to Kurganov's dismay, Kornuth hit it when the{6-Diamonds} spiked on the river.
