In the last hand before the break the two high stakes regulars, who must have played some hands against each other online, clashed in a sizable pot.
It was Jason Koon who started it all with a raise to 23,000 from the hijack. Ben Tollerene called from the small blind and Benny Spindler added the 12,000 from the big blind to get involved as well. All three of them checked on and the on the turn was seen for free. Tollerene bet 50,000 and Spindler called. Koon instantly got out of the way.
The completed the board and Tollerene checked. Spindler bet 112,000 and Tollerene went into the tank. He thought about it for quite some time and at one point it looked like he was going to fold when he removed the chip from his cards. In the end he decided against it and called, only to muck upon being shown by Spindler for the nuts.
Spindler plays 700,000 exactly after the hand, Tollerene drops down to just over half a million.
