Rast Takes a Big Hit Courtesy of Kurganov's Bullets

Igor Kurganov looked down at the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} in the cutoff and raised to 18,000. Fabian Quoss called from the small blind with the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Brian Rast did the same with the {10-Spades}{9-Spades} from the big, and three players took a flop of {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Quoss checked, Rast bet 27,000, and only Kurganov called to see the {K-Diamonds} turn. Action went check-check and then Rast bet 62,000 when he paired his ten on the {10-Hearts} river. Kurganov called with his pocket rockets and won a nice pot.

Greenwood Scores a Double

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Tollerene raised to 18,000 from the cutoff only to have Sam Greenwood three-bet all in for 83,000 from the small blind. Tollerene made the call and it was off to the races.

Tollerene: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Greenwood: {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The {2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop paired Tollerene, but Greenwood also spiked a set. The {4-Clubs} turn left Tollerene drawing dead, and he sent over the chips after the {10-Spades} was run out on the river for good measure.

Greenwood Sliding

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Connor Drinan raised to 20,000 from the cutoff and Sam Greenwood called from the big blind. Greenwood then check-called a bet of 20,000 on the {4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop before check-calling one of 30,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn. When the {10-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Greenwood checked for a third time and Drinan bet 175,000.

Greenwood only had 85,000 back, and he opted to preserve it with a fold.

Drinan Wins an Interesting One

Sam Greenwood opened with a raise to 15,000 from the cutoff seat, and play folded to Connor Drinan in the small blind. After not seeing the opening raise from Greenwood, Drinan put out enough chips to make the call of the 6,000 big blind, but the dealer informed him that there was a raise in front. Drinan was told he could call the raise from Greenwood or fold and forfeit his 6,000, and he opted to call the full raise amount. Ben Tollerene then folded from the big blind and off to a flop the duo went.

The flop was {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and Drinan checked. Greenwood bet 26,000, and Drinan made the call.

The turn was the {4-Hearts}, and Drinan checked again. Greenwood stayed on the gas with a bet of 53,000, but Drinan stuck around to see the {5-Spades} complete the board on the river. That's where both players checked to finish the action.

Greenwood showed the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for king high, and Drinan turned up the {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} to win the pot.
